Darya Falaki
Born in 1997 in Tehran, Darya Falaki discovered her passion for acting at the age of nine, with a primary focus on theater. After completing a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, she moved to the United States at 21 to pursue her artistic ambitions. Deeply inspired by Persian literature, art, and music, Darya has appeared in various short film projects, including Chapman/AFI/CalArts thesis films. At 24, she began teaching both yoga and acting to children—a role that continues to bring her immense satisfaction. Over the past seven years, she has also participated in numerous dance projects. Her favorite style is Sufi whirling, which she pairs with the Daf, a traditional percussion instrument.
